Top American Companies Moving To The UAE In 2026

25 June 2026 7 min read

The UAE has become the default Middle East landing pad for American business, and 2026 is the busiest year yet. Zero corporate tax for free zone qualifying income, a stable dollar peg, world class logistics and an English speaking workforce make the maths obvious. Here are the American names making the biggest moves.

Microsoft

Microsoft deepened its Abu Dhabi footprint through its multi billion dollar investment in G42, and is using the UAE as its springboard for AI infrastructure across the wider region. Local Azure capacity continues to expand.

Google

Google opened a Dubai office years ago, but in 2026 it is scaling AI sales, cloud and YouTube ad teams aggressively, with new hires across DIFC and Internet City.

Amazon Web Services

AWS continues to expand its UAE region, with new availability zones and a growing public sector practice supporting federal and Abu Dhabi government clients.

OpenAI

OpenAI is one of the headline arrivals, with the Stargate UAE partnership announced alongside G42, anchoring a major compute build out in Abu Dhabi.

BlackRock

BlackRock has scaled its Abu Dhabi presence inside ADGM, plugging directly into Mubadala, ADQ and ADIA flows. The team is hiring across private markets and infrastructure.

Citadel and Millennium

Both giant US hedge funds have grown their Dubai DIFC offices into hundreds of staff, drawn by talent mobility, tax efficiency and proximity to Asia.

Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan

Both expanded UAE banking teams in 2025 and 2026 to capture sovereign wealth mandates, regional IPOs and family office advisory.

Lockheed Martin, RTX and General Atomics

Defence primes have grown UAE engineering and MRO operations alongside Tawazun and EDGE Group partnerships.

Coinbase, Ripple and Circle

US crypto leaders are choosing Dubai VARA and ADGM for regulated licences as a hedge against US uncertainty.

Meta, Salesforce, Oracle and IBM

All have meaningfully grown UAE headcount, with Oracle Cloud expanding its UAE region and Salesforce running its regional HQ from Dubai.
